SportyEyes was started by a cricketer who got tired of choosing between eyewear that breaks and eyewear that costs more than his kit bag.
Our Story
The gap no one was filling.
Somewhere between the ₹300 roadside copy and the ₹15,000 import, an entire generation of Indian athletes was being ignored. Not casual buyers — people who train six days a week, field in the sun for four hours, and need their eyewear to survive a season. That gap is why this brand exists.
We build for that middle. Real optics, real fit, real durability, at a price a serious club player can actually justify.
The founder is a professional cricketer, currently playing in the Bengal circuit. The product gets tested where it is meant to be used — at nets, in matches, under floodlights, through a Kolkata summer. Our earliest customers were teammates and opponents. They are the reason we care more about whether a frame holds up in the 40th over than whether it photographs well.
